Sickness again…

Well found out on Friday night that I had larengitus (how ever you spell it), and then back to the doctor on Sat for Catelyn, yet again she has an upper respiratory tract infection, which therefore means she is rather moody, and doesn’t wanna sleep.

This is really taking a toll on Cecilia, as Catelyn is _VERY_ mom centric these days.

Well hopefully this week things get better…

Finally Skype video support

Well Skype finally has video in there beta linux version. It’s about time.

And on that note, I finally managed to get my/our webcam working, it was as simple as apt-get install gspca-modules-2.6-686 and then plug it in… ;)

Dunno why I struggled so much the last time.

As for the webcam it’s a Logitech QuickCam express Plus, yes it was a spur of the moment purchase

So today Catelyn is eight months old today… :)

Time flies so fast, well recently she’s been a little sick and this has been keeing us up at night, but she is getting better now…

She is also sitting by herself now, it’s really cute…

The creche had a picture day, and she looks really cute in the pictures… :)

Well I need to sign off… sleep time :(

Wireless Access Point

GRRRR…. We had an eskom sponsored power failure earlier today, and after the power finally came back on, my WIFIAP wouldn’t come back on… :(

Luckely I was able to use the network cable that was plugged into it to connect to the network…

And then about 5 min ago I decided to plug it in again… Dunno why, but hey it’s working… :D

Sometimes I wonder if some of these things can hear your thoughts… cause I was looking at prices for a new one… *eg*
