DNS Cache Poisoning
Alot of people might know about this, but in case you don’t, there was a vulnerability found in the DNS system, the servers that convert http://nighthawk.co.za/ into a number that computers can understand
Basically what this means is that if someone wanted to they could cause you to go to there server instead of the server you wanted, banking for example
Well a nice simple way to test would be the following:dig +short @ns1.example.com porttest.dns-oarc.net TXT replace ns1.example.com with the DNS server you want to check, of cause this would only work from a Linux machine
Good luck, and hopefully your ISP has taken the precautions they need to.
ps. If you running Debian Etch with the latest security patches, you should be fine
