Git colors
Jan 2nd
I’ve been using Git for a while now and am enjoying it over SVN. Especially the fact that it’s distributed.
Well recently I was having an issue with the color output:
<config ~/.gitconfig> [color] ui = auto </config>
After enabling colors I was getting the following:
# ESC[31mmodified: cms/config.phpESC[m
And then I found an entry on the GitFaq which fixed the issue
<config ~/.gitconfig> [core] pager = less -FXRS </config>
Hope this helps someone else having the same issue.
Happy New Year
Jan 1st
Well it’s been a pretty “rustig” Christmas and New Year. I’d just like to wish all of you out there a peacefully and great 2009, hope it’s good for you!!!
Christmas this year was at our house, and we had a couple of Cecilia’s family around, she really outdid herself with the table, photos to follow soon
My mom came to visit us for a couple of days on the evening of Christmas day, and it was great seeing her again.
Then last night we spent the afternoon and early evening with Cecilia’s cousin Janine, boyfriend, dad, and a couple of other people, in Strand.
We got home at around 22h00 and actually were so tired we ended up going to bed shortly after, so slept throught the count down.
But all in all was a nice couple of days, and back to work on Monday and I can’t wait…
