What a month… :(
Oct 9th
So last week tues (29 Sep) I decide to walk to the shops and I got mugged, lost money, cards and my cellphone…
Then on my way home from work today, I hit a dog. Lucky for the dog it was quick and painless, but unlucky for the car, the raidiator is cracked, and bumper is broken.
Now comes the insurance… Well I’m hoping thats the end of it… sigh…
To shave or not to shave

So for the last little while I have been growing a beard… 
Well Cecilia wants me to shave it, but I don’t really want to… 
So I leave it to anyone who reads his, what should I do?

So today I got my new Phone, after loosing my old one, and then sending my temporary one through the wash
First off, thank you and sorry Cecilia, I know that this has “messed” up the accounts
Offhand this is a fairly nice phone, just need to get used to it, will report more on it later…
Another one bites the dust…

So friday morning I go and loose my phone… OMW what a mission to get it all sorted out…
Well finally have a new sim card (and working) but have to use an old phone for the next little while…
Serves me right I guess…
It’s been a while

Ok I realize it’s been a while since I last blogged about anything…
Sad really as so much has happened… Will hopefully get the time to write a couple of entries and back date them to the dates when they happened…
Potty Training

So Catelyn has started potty training now… Sheesh they grow up so fast…
And it was her second birthday on the 8th… Happy Birthday Catelyn…
Cecilia has a car

Cecilia got her learners licence the other day (actuall can’t remember the date), on her first sitting. So her licence test is set for the 25th February 2009, out in Fredendale (sp).
Well since she is going to be driving around, and I basically need the car to get to work, we thought it best to get another car, something small and light on petrol.
Cecilia really liked the Chery QQ3, so we now have a silver one. It’s got an 800cc engine, and over the last couple of days I’ve been driving it to work and it’s actually alot better than I thought it would be. Oh yes, and it’s silver unlike the picture below.

Well it’s been a pretty “rustig” Christmas and New Year. I’d just like to wish all of you out there a peacefully and great 2009, hope it’s good for you!!!
Christmas this year was at our house, and we had a couple of Cecilia’s family around, she really outdid herself with the table, photos to follow soon 
My mom came to visit us for a couple of days on the evening of Christmas day, and it was great seeing her again.
Then last night we spent the afternoon and early evening with Cecilia’s cousin Janine, boyfriend, dad, and a couple of other people, in Strand.
We got home at around 22h00 and actually were so tired we ended up going to bed shortly after, so slept throught the count down.
But all in all was a nice couple of days, and back to work on Monday and I can’t wait…
The return to normal

Well depends what normal means I suppose.
Well I got my phone back this morning (well a new one), now to get it setup and all that good stuff (am looking for a waterproof cover ).
And then also Catelyn goes back to creche tomorrow, which means that the Germans are gone, and her chest has cleared nicely (still a little bit of a runny nose but that should be gone by tomorrow)
Also have “installed” the removable hdd on to shredder and once I have finished setting up a couple of paths and shares this should be accessible to all on the network. Unfortunately I have to setup samba for sharing with that other OS, but at least it’s easy.
The Germans are invading

Ok so it’s not actual Germans but rather German Measels, and it’s Catelyn that has them.
Well she’s home early from creche and sleeping, hopefully she gets better soon…
